Hospitality Committee

Mission:

To plan for and provide opportunities for the residents of 2393 Park Place to socialize with each other.

Accomplishments, 2007

• The summer garden party took place on Sunday, August 19th poolside in the garden. Wonderful food was served and most residents attended.
• The winter holiday party was held on Sunday, December 2nd in the first floor lobby. Festive food was served and holiday spirit prevailed, with many new owners attending.
• Travel Talks: Thanks to Eve Rosenfeld for hosting the first of what could be many Travel Talks from our residents with the travel bug. The focus was on Meridel Prideaux's trip to Jordan and the issues in the Middle East.
• Summer Socials: Thanks to Joyce Tyler for putting together the no-host summer Tuesday evening socials in the Garden. There were regulars who found it inviting to socialize with each other on a weekly basis during the summer.

Goals 2008

• Continue to plan annual summer and holiday parties.
• Welcome new residents with a personal visit.
